The article is devoted to the study of problematic issues of monitoring compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of arms trafficking. The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the increased risk of consequences of illegal arms traffic for the constitutionally significant values of the state. Among the main conditions for effective work to prevent illegal arms trafficking is the organization of information interaction between law enforcement and other state bodies. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the legislative basis, legal acts, scientific works and statistical data, this article contains specific proposals for optimizing the mechanism of information interaction between the licensing and licensing divisions of the Federal National Guard Service and other state bodies.
