This article reveals the relevance of the problem of juvenile delinquency, analyzes the severity of the consequences of this type of crime. The article examines statistical information on the state of juvenile delinquency over the past five years. The generally accepted principles for the prevention of juvenile delinquency are indicated. The main directions of improving the prevention of neglect and juvenile delinquency are identified. Based on the analysis of the problem of juvenile delinquency, as well as having experience in combating juvenile delinquency, we develop our own recommendations for the prevention of the crimes in question.
