Issues related to the availability of medicines for citizens of the Russian Federation have always been in the orbit of state policy. Today, in the context of limited possibilities for importing medicines and complicating the organization of their production on the territory of the Russian Federation, ensuring the availability of medicines is becoming a key issue on the agenda, the solution of which directly affects national security. The right of citizens to drug provision is the most important right, the guarantees for the implementation of which have different industry affiliations. Drug supply today should be based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, consistent with modern achievements in fundamental and applied science, and the capabilities of the pharmaceutical industry. Within the framework of this study, using the means of system analysis, comparative legal, formal logical and other methods used by legal sciences, the possibilities of the law of the Eurasian Economic Union, the potential of the single market of medicines being created in terms of accessibility, quality and safety of drug provision for citizens of states are analyzed included in the EAEU.
