Statistical indicators of juvenile delinquency have been declining for several years. In turn, it is not quite right to draw an unambiguous conclusion about the stabilization of the situation and the effectiveness of criminal policy. In the article the author describes the current state of juvenile delinquency through the analysis of statistical indicators, doctrinal sources, a doctrinal sources, research of related issues, on the basis of which author highlights the most obvious trends. Ultimately, the author concludes about the significant influence of such factors as demographic situation, latency, improvement of methods and ways of committing the crime, the widespread digitalization and unlimited access to information through the Internet on the indicators of juvenile delinquency.
