An analysis of the implementation by Rostrud of the function of supervision in the sphere of labor in the process of electronic interaction with controlled entities and their employees is presented; preventive and supervisory activities carried out in electronic form are being investigated. It is proposed to oblige employers to conduct electronic personnel document management; give Rostrud the authority to conduct safety monitoring. The considered elements of electronic interaction can be recognized as elements of the emerging system of electronic supervision.
