This article discusses the main aspects of management, control and evaluation of workers with the help of algorithms and new technologies. It discusses the validity and justifiability of the use of such methods in the labor process and their correlation with the need to respect the privacy of workers. The author highlights the problem of insufficiency of normative legal and non-normative regulation and specific problems of "non-transparency" and bias. Special attention is paid to actual examples and statistical data on the use of algorithms in Russian and foreign companies, as well as on online platforms. It is concluded that the Russian legal system is not ready enough for the general introduction of algorithmicization and that the use of existing algorithms in foreign countries should be mitigated.
