The paper gives the results of a linguistic study of the indirect expression of consent in Russian language. The definition of consent as a communicative act is proposed. The classification of linguistic means of expressing consent in the Russian language is carried out with the allocation of direct and indirect among them. Based on the material of the study, indirect means are considered in detail with their more detailed division into lexical, grammatical and syntactic ones. At results, promising directions for further linguistic study of the communicative act of consent in the Russian language are proposed.
