In the modern world, economic relations in cyberspace have arisen and are successfully functioning, which require specific legal regulation. Goal: consideration of current issues of legal regulation in the context of digitalization of markets in Russia at the present stage of development. Methods: analysis, synthesis, search and structuring of secondary information. Main results and conclusions: the article examines the possibility of creating legal norms regulating relations when using digital/information platforms. Also, within the framework of the presented article, the most pressing problems and issues of the system of legal regulation of the digital economy are considered. Problematic blocks are identified in the process of determining applicable legal norms within the framework of the study of the digital economy. Some features of the use of the Internet, as well as the development of law in cyberspace, are highlighted. A way to overcome the legal vacuum in the fast-growing field of digital technologies is presented.
