The purpose of the work is the correlation of the legal regulation of the grounds for suspension and termination of the powers of judges of the courts of Russia. The difference in the grounds established for judges of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and judges of other courts is revealed. However, the reasons why such discrepancies are necessary in the legislation have not been established. In order to unify legal regulation, amendments and additions to existing laws are proposed.
