| The article examines the place of traditional medicine in the daily life of the peasant population of the Russian Empire at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries using the example of periodicals and the works of congresses of doctors. The reasons for the popularity of traditional medicine in the period under review are shown and its characteristics are given. The projects proposed as a counteraction to traditional medicine by doctors and the public are highlighted. |
