The article is devoted to the plot related to the implementation of Peter I's plans during the transition to a new system of local church property management as part of the initial stage of church reform. The issue has been studied on the example of Kashinsky district. In June 1701 - May 1702, scribes M.F. Derevnin and Ya.P. Nikiforov, sent by a Monastic order to the county, focused on the revision of monastic property, but seeing themselves as managers of monasteries, they showed special interest in the described property. By the middle of 1702 In Kashinsky district, as a whole, a new management structure has developed, headed by stolnik P.I. Travin.
