The article is devoted to the study of the ways of influencing the measures of state coercion applied to convicts serving a criminal sentence in the form of imprisonment. The purpose of the work is to identify and substantiate the sectoral features of the implementation of measures of criminal, penal enforcement, administrative law and coercion based on specific ways of influencing these measures on convicts in the process of serving a criminal sentence. The research methodology consists of a combination of dialectical and general scientific methods of cognition: system-structural, analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction. The conducted research made it possible to substantiate the interrelation of sectoral methods of coercive influence implemented by authorized officials of the criminal justice system in the execution of criminal penalties, to identify the boundaries of their application and the features of the administrative and legal method of coercive influence.
