The article examines certain problems associated with the legal regulation of measures aimed at preventing illegal acts in the field of construction, as well as preventing the occurrence of situations in the field of construction that threaten the security of the individual, society, and state. The author considers inspections by state construction supervision bodies to be among the administrative and preventive measures used in the field of construction; warning from the state construction supervision body; building permit; conclusion on the compliance of the constructed capital construction facility with the requirements of technical regulations and design documentation; permission to put a capital construction project into operation. The author formulates a theoretical definition of a warning from the state construction supervision body as an administrative coercive measure applied in the event of detection of signs of violation of mandatory requirements in the field of construction or the presence of information about impending violations, aimed at preventing the commission of administrative offenses by taking measures to ensure compliance with mandatory requirements in the field of construction. It is concluded that it is necessary to improve the regulatory framework for issuing a construction permit and extending its validity, as well as introducing legislative changes aimed at increasing the efficiency of applying warnings from the state construction supervision body.
