Creativity of author's thinking and style manifested in language has been and remains an important research task, which various linguistic schools and individual scientists are working on. The article gives a brief overview of modern trends in the study of linguocreativity in Russian science. The purpose of the article is to describe a new vector of linguocreativity manifestation, which emerged due to the development of modern technological conditions for communication. The Internet has provided ample opportunities for the use of creative language resources, which has brought the creative function to the forefront of the multitude of language functions. The authors use traditional scientific methods of observation, analysis and scientific reflection to describe the transformation of genre forms of Internet communication, as well as to identify the dynamic processes occurring in the Russian literary language at each level of the linguistic system under the influence of the creative function of language.
