| When studying the influence of heparin incremental doses (0.5-5000 IU/kg) on rat blood thromboelastogram
characteristics, it has been shown that low (0.5 IU/kg) and high (5000 IU/kg) heparin doses have the maximum hypercoagulant
action. it is suggested that high doses come into a direct contact with procoagulants while the low ones
influence chemoreceptors stimulating endogenous heparin release. |
