| The effect of light on the activity of peroxidase (PO) cytoplasmic (solute) and ion-bound cell wall fractions of
4-8 day wheat seedlings has been investigated. Ontogenetic changes have been revealed in the dynamics of intracellular and extracellular PO, as well as a light-dependent shift towards the ion-bound fraction. It has been proposed that these PO forms are most closely connected with the modifying light influence on the wheat seedling growth activity. |
