| This article presents an analysis of the specificity of periphrasis as a nominative unit. Some aspects of nomination in the language are considered, the nominative potential of the periphrasis and its relations with other units of the language are discussed, the typology of the periphrastic nomination is presented. The author concludes that periphrastic nomination has very diverse semantic, structural and functional properties. |
