| The semantic structure of a school essay is examined. The notion of a semantic block of an essay is introduced, the main 11 text blocks of a school essay are specified: characterization, event, comparison, point of view, source of information, aim, motive, assurance, assumption, emphasis and conclusion. A detailed description is given of the meaning of the semantic block of characterization and of the means for its expression. |
