| English neologisms (words and word combinations) in the field of computers are studied. Computer terms and jargonisms are subdivided into five lexico-semantic groups. Taking into account the Fudge factor (frequency of use, unobtrusiveness, diversity of users and situations, generation of new forms and meanings, and endurance of the concept) the linguistic perspectives of the neologisms investigated are considered. |
