| Transformation of the content of the concept «confession» in political discourse is considered. The tradition-al understanding of confession as a religious sacrament and a literary genre is discussed. The transformation of the term by statesmen in the context of globalization is illustrated by their use of manipulative technologies in the framework of a confessional discourse. |
