One of the most important elements of the communicative structure of a literary text is authors selfpresentation.
The paper distinguishes between direct and indirect forms of self-presentation. Self-presentation is
considered as a component of a more general category: targeting of a literary text. It focuses on one of the participants
in the dialogue between the writer and the reader, helping to recreate the authors sphere of concepts. |
