| Integrating the high performance computing environment management system Metacluster with Maui Scheduler is considered. A short survey of the most widely used cluster scheduling algorithms and the main modifications of the backfill algorithms are given. A Metacluster-Maui Scheduler integration scheme is described together with the test system infrastructure. An overview is presented of the performance criteria for scheduling algorithms, as well as the performance comparison of the Metacluster own scheduling algorithm with those implemented in Maui Scheduler. |
