We compare some performance characteristics achieved by four domestic cluster supercomputers when solving the problem of simulation of electron beam interaction with plasma. The model is based on the Particle-in-Cell method. The results of this comparison clearly show that the most important cluster performance indicator for real physical problems is the RAM access speed. |
