| The reflection of a radio wave from a relativistically moving front of an extensive air shower (EAS) produced in the Earth's atmosphere by an ultra-high energy cosmic ray particle has been investigated. The estimation of the reflected signal power for a 1 MHz sounding wave confirms the promise of the EAS radar sounding in the medium frequency band. |
