| The article discusses the important factors that influenced the formation of the theoretical framework for Russia's national security during the late twentieth and early twenty-first century. We analyze the changes in domestic and international politics that have necessitated a revision of the concept of the system of Russia's national security. Some problems that remain significant to this day are also identified. |
