Abstract
Main characteristics of the ordinary ionospheric wave are calculated using the ray tracing approach for different incidence angles (including near-vertical incidence) under real conditions of the ionosphere modified by a powerful ground-based HF radio transmitter. The electron density profiles used for the calculations have been derived from the ionospheric vertical sounding data at the Sura heating facility.
