Abstract
The temporal resolution threshold of a double light pulse for 62 young people of both sexes (average age 20.9± 0.32 years) has been determined. Light pulses with duration of 10 µs and wavelengths 623 nm, 525 nm and 470 nm have been used. The average threshold value was 42.5 ± 1.1 ms. An eccentricity of 10 deg reduces the threshold for monocular vision. With an eccentricity of 75 deg, the average threshold value was 108 ± 3.8 ms. Reliable differences in threshold values for different wavelengths have not been found.
