Abstract
A method for amplification of overlapping fragments of the 9th gene of group A rotaviruses has been developed to determine the complete nucleotide sequence of ORF of capsid protein VP7 encoding gene. Phylogenetic analysis of VP7 gene nucleotide sequence allowed to attribute rotavirus isolates from Nizhni Novgorod to the sublineage G1-II-E.
