The database of results of bacteriological research of the colon microflora of 3268 people is analysed. In the course of microflora formation from the first hour of life, aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms participate in equal amounts. Their increase occurs in parallel, skipping the «transformation stage». In the «healthy» children group aged 1 to 12 months, opportunistic microorganisms in significant quantities occur with the greatest frequency. With age, the occurrence of these microorganisms decreases.
