Abstract

A statistical analysis of exterior signs of А pis mellifera carnica Pollmann and Apis mellifera caucasica Gorbatchev worker bees has been carried out. The exterior signs were used to study intra-, inter-family and interbreed differences. For testing interbreed differences, the MANOVA method has been applied for two normally distributed signs: the third tergite width and the size of cubital index.
