Based on original research and data published elsewhere, the mammalian species composition and abundance are analyzed in the southern and north-eastern ridges of the Greater Caucasus (within Azerbaijan). 19 species (orders Lagomorpha, Carnivora, Artiodactyla ) of 107 known in the country have been found. The most and the least populated landscapes are the forests and the territory of the nival belt. |
