| In the current study, we have shown that in primary tumors and peripheral blood samples of renal cancer patients mRNAs of cancer-testis genes MAGE and GAGE/PAGE/XAGE are present. The genes express in different combinations and with different frequency. The spectra of gene expression differ, indicating the differences in transcriptome structure of malignantly transformed cells present in tumor sites and of metastatic cells circulating in the blood. |
