Pulsed magnetic field caused a nonmonotonic change in the quantum yields of photosystems: after a 15-minute treatment, they were not different from control values, and increased after a 30- and 60-minute treatment, which testifies to a more rapid activation of the photosystems and electron transport chain. After a 120-minute treatment, quantum yields dropped below the control level, which is probably due to the dysfunction of the membranes. |
