| The method of construction of the stress-strain curve of a metal surface by indentation and scratch testing using the three- sided pyramid (Berkovich) indenter under fixed load was developed. It was based on the results of finite-element simulation of penetration and following scratching of elastoplastic material. The method was adapted to test operation using atomic-force microscope and nanohardness testing instruments. |
