| The subject of this paper is the publication of the Russian translation of the full text of the diary of Eric Gustav Erstrom, a student of the Moscow University, who was evacuated in 1812 to Nizhni Novgorod. The article presents a short biography of Erstrom and considers his diary as a source for studying the situation in Nizhni Novgorod in 1812. |
