| The first chapter of «Eugene Onegin» in the 1825 edition is analysed in relation to both the author's prosaic preface and the poetic prologue «Conversation of the bookseller with the poet». The article revisits the traditional understanding of the protagonist of Pushkin's poetic novel as an antipoetic character. |
