This article represents an attempt to comprehend the phenomenon of an author's myth-making. This phenomenon takes one of the leading places in the area of modern literary process. Creative works of Irmtraud Morgner are examined within the scope of gynocentrical literature. We consider the reception of Morgner’s oeuvre in Russian and foreign literary criticism and the transformation of mythological images in her works, first of all by using the example of her «The Life and Adventures of Trobadora Beatrice as Chronicled by Her Minstrel Laura», 1974. |
