This article offers an alternative interpretation of the stanza <XII> and some other stanzas of the so-called Chapter X of «Eugene Onegin». The author believes that the content of these stanzas can explain in a new way both the whole chapter and Pushkin's attitude to the Emperor Alexander I. |
