The author analyzes the relation between the phenomena divided by nearly two centuries: A.S. Pushkin's novel in verse and serial television movies, a product of mass culture. The author' observations are based on the frequency of publication of separate chapters of «Eugene Onegin». Thus, the discrete nature of perception of a literary work seems to be taken by modern mass media from Pushkin's novel and other classic works of literature and art. The incompleteness of the novel itself also finds its analogies in the history and structure of TV series. |
