A complex experimentally-theoretical approach to the research and development of composite materials for conditions of high-speed impact with application of nanotechnologies is described. The data on the character of high-velocity interaction of strikers made of tungsten composites using powder technology, with aluminium and steel barriers have been obtained. Experimental research was done using a gun where the increase of the muzzle velocity through the application of nanocomposite fuels were realised.
