The deformation of flexible fabric composites is considered for the case of a material preliminarily damaged by impact. The experimental research of the preliminary impact damage on deformation curve parameters is carried out at the first stage of the work. The influence of the ratio between the hammer dimension and a typical thread dimension on mentioned diagram is also investigated. The structural model describing the deformation process in this material is developed at the second stage. The comparison of the suggested model with experimental data shows good qualitative and quantitative agreement in describing the static deformation curve both in the absence and in the presence of damage.
