The spall strength in the nanosecond range of load duration is studied on the basis of the structural-temporal approach. Speed and time dependences of strength are investigated. It is established that the fracture is possible not at the moment to achieve the maximum value of stress, and some time later, when the stress in the cross section of spall begins to decrease. The possibility to describe the effect of the strength «stabilization», observed in experiments on spalling, is shown. |
