| The results of numerically analyzing a 3D formulation of the problem of ignition of a deciduous tree by electric current of a ground lightning discharge are presented. The large-vessel approximation is used. A parametrical analysis of the effect of volt-ampere characteristics on the heating process of the trunk wood is done. Tree trunk ignition conditions in a typical range of acting parameters of the discharge are determined. |
