| In this paper, we explore some understudied aspects of the combat against economic crimes during the martial law period (1941-1945) in the near-frontline regions on the example of the Saratov region. Some of the most interesting facts of operational service of the regional internal affairs agencies contained in archival documents are brought to light. |
