Currently, the Eurasian Economic Commission is working intensively on a new version of the Customs Code of the EAEU. In this paper, we consider some fundamental innovations that are expected to appear in this document, how they will facilitate the life of business entities and what changes can be expected in Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan in the field of customs technologies. We also discuss some issues of current importance for member states of the EAEU, such as improving and modernizing customs administration with the use of modern information technologies, as well as the trends of changes in customs legislation to increase the responsibility of the participants of foreign economic activity.
