| Norway is a relatively young nation when it comes to immigration. The main immigrant groups today are from Poland and Pakistan. The awareness of, and actions connected to, how ethnic minorities are represented and portrayed in the media has been present for around the last 15 years. The public broadcaster, NRK, has a special recruitment program to recruit more journalists with multicultural backgrounds. The mission NRK should have in a multicultural society is formulated in the NRK charter. |
