The authors consider the main logical steps in the development of society's legal culture, as well as the place and role of legal education in this process. The process of creating legal values has an objective nature and is associated with the manifestation of the essential and natural elements in law. Legal science and legal education act in this process as attributive elements of the spiritual basis for legal culture. It is a prerequisite for identifying, preserving and developing the material elements of the legal culture. Any disruptions and deformations in the spiritual basis of legal culture inevitably lead to losses in its material component and to ignoring or abandoning already existing or potential legal values.
