| The article presents the analysis of the results of a pilot research of organizational culture of a higher education
institution at the initial stage of introduction of the quality management system (QМS). The research has been
aimed at revealing those typological features of organizational culture in a university that hinder the changes. The
rational-pragmatical approach to the study of organizational culture has been used as a methodological base of the
