Abstract
Main physical and mechanical properties of Al-SiC metal matrix composite (MMC) material have been studied. Full-scale tests of the material in power transistor modules have been carried out. The choice of Al-SiC metal matrix composite material for the application in thermally conductive products of power electronics and converting equipment has been justified.
