Abstract
Self-modulation oscillations in a phase-locked loop with a second-order filter in the control circuit are studied. Regions are identified in the parameter space where regular (simple or complex) or chaotic automodulation oscillations exist and are globally stable. Time and frequency domain characteristics of the automodulation oscillations are investigated.
